Due to the escalation of the Coronavirus/Covid-19 across the world, on March 15, 2020 the Balcia Insurance SE Management Board initiated business contingency plan across all Balcia’s branches in order to protect the health and safety of employees and the general public. As of that day, all Balcia employees work remotely.
Please be assured that all Balcia braches have functional and technical capabilities to continue successfully provide a high level of services and protect the interests of policyholders and insured persons, even in this challenging Covid-19 crisis.
In addition, for the time being, we abstain from any business trips, as well as face-to-face business meetings. We encourage our employees, clients and business partners to use the remote communication capabilities such as e-mail, Skype for Business, telephone or videoconferences to deal with any daily matters.
The information received from our outsourcing service providers shows that they continue to provide the services and able to maintain the high standards of business.
The Balcia’s business relationships with customers and partners are executed on a business-as-usual basis, accommodating for the “new normal”. The Company is confident that even for a prolonged crisis, the Company will conduct business operations in a professional and orderly manner.
